US military has been acting as a de facto Federal Reserve in Iraq
Well, the US military has been acting as a de facto Federal Reserve in Iraq, first by paying thousands of Iraqis twenty
U.S dollars and by further insisting on paying another million workers upwards of $575/month.

All of this in the hope of displacing the Iraqi currency for the US dollar. To the military's surprise, the inexorable laws
of economics have dropped the equivalent of a bunker-buster on the U.S. plan. David Hume explains:

"All augmentation [of gold and silver] has no other effect than to heighten the price of labour and commodities; and
even this variation is little more than that of a name...Money having chiefly a fictitious value, the greater or less plenty
of it is of no consequence if we consider a nation within itself."

Dont elect another damned lawyer
Some of them scare us. But that's all right if we stand and fight. The down side is that we also are scared of the large
number of citizens who don't know, or don't care, or are too stupid to fight against what's being done to them.

Those of us who have served in the armed forces of America, and who swore to defend the nation "...against all
enemies foreign or domestic" know very well how to tell when a person has declared himself to be your enemy.
First, he will try to disarm you! If you let these enemies, among them the politically arrogant lawyers in the U.S. Congress
take away your right to keep and bear arms, granted to you by God and affirmed in the Second Amendment to the
Constitution of the United States ? your means of defending your family, your property, and yourself, then
YOU DESERVE TO DIE.

We see on cars and trucks lately a lot of bumper stickers that make us think. One of the principles of outdoor advertising,
the medium into which these stickers broadly are categorized, is that the driving audience, because of the dangers in
modern traffic, are prohibited from "getting the message" if it's longer than seven words, or has too small lettering.
One of the best we've seen reads: "I Love My Country, but I Fear My Government."

What is the "government?" It's basically the people whom we've elected to handle the day-to-day business of running the
affairs of the United States, along with the employees who are appointed by those elected officials to assist them in those
operations.

The hard-to-swallow fact is that we have chosen to exalt as well as elect, and to surrender rather than fight.
But in reality the government is us. So we, while we still have the right to vote, get the kind of government we
choose ? the kind we elect.

If we choose a PAL for a member of Congress, then unfortunately we get what we have coming. But what seems unfair
to us at DEAL is that the voters who choose that kind of candidate are letting them, even seeming to encourage them to
do it to us, too! And we who can see what's going on don't like it one bit. So, stop it!

Quit electing people to Congress who will ignore the Constitution, will figuratively thumb their noses at the people who
administer the oaths to which they swear, and will set about to intercede and deny you the natural rights and freedoms
which have been given to you by God.

Not only are the PALs arrogant, but they are greedy, too. They don't only want to take away your rights and freedoms,
they want to take away your money and everything else which supports your rights to "...life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness." And you can't watch them closely enough to keep them from doing it.

The solution is not to let them have the opportunity to do it to you, and to us. Don't Elect Another Lawyer, either to the
Senate or to the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Don't make a bad situation worse!
Your questions, your thoughts, and your support are strongly encouraged. Use the "shout" link to do so.
